Question N code = premium economy?

I am a newbie so please be gentle with me. I used Google flights to search for premium economy fare from IAD to BKK in September. The flights I wanted shows as premium economy in the Google Flights but when I clicked to book through united web site it says that the second leg from NRT to BKK is "Economy (N)." Is N on ANA premium economy or regular Y? Should I just go ahead and book through united web site?

Booking class N in ANA is premium economy, but only earns 70% of flight miles (when crediting to ANA).
In June, NRT-BKK NH807(operated by N) is operated by 3 class (C,PE,E) configrartion, NH805(operated by NQ) has 2 classes (CY).
In September, NH807 (operated by NQ) is 3 classes, NH805(operated by NH) has 2 classes.
(NQ: Air Japan).

I don't know which is better to book in United or ANA web sites.

N class also doesn't allow any upgrade with points or miles

This is what it shows on united.com. I am paying out of pocket and only care about premier qualifying miles on United as I occasionally travel. Should we care about the award miles? I looks terrible in the picture below. I will be traveling with my wife and 3 y/o son. We just want to sit in bigger seats. The outgoing flight is the last wednesday of August.

[Realizing that this is probably no longer relevant for OP, but posting here for future reference]

United website is wrong. My itinerary booked as UA Flt # (op by NH) to NRT in R, NH Flt # to BKK in N on United 016 stock shows up as Economy for the N segment on United website, but as proper PE on the NH website. I'm also able to select PE seats on the NH website.

FWIW, NH N earns 100% on UA.

FWIW I booked PE IAH-NRT-BKK on NH 205 stock and the e-ticket shows N(Y) class as well... but looking at my trip on the ANA website it does say Premium Economy.

FWIW, my January ticket now properly shows "Premium Economy (N)" for the NH segments. Interestingly, United website now allows seat selection for NH segments.
