baggage during overnight connection at CDG

Hi everyone, quick question about baggage on a long international transfer through CDG. My family is flying on a United award ticket from HND-CDG-EWR with an overnight layover (~18 hours) in CDG. HND-CDG is operated by ANA, while CDG-EWR is operated by United.

We will have quite a lot of baggage between the three of us. So, two questions:

⁃Will ANA be able to check our luggage all the way through from HND to EWR?

⁃Will we be required to take our luggage out at CDG given the long and overnight layover, and re-check the next day? Or can it stay checked-in overnight?

Thanks!

Incorrect. OP will have to collect luggage at CDG and re-check the next morning. UA doesn’t allow overnight baggage storage. Same issue encountered at FRA with passengers connecting from LH.
