Are there Restrictions on Award Changes based on Date?

Are there Restrictions on Award Changes based on Date?
I've got a roundtrip in October 2019 (LAX-Europe-LAX) and tacking on a free one-way before and after. If I make date changes, are there any restrictions on how far I can kick the date-change? For example "Can't be more than 1 year beyond booking date or first leg." Also, can changes be made after first leg is flown?

As usual, you can book only 355 days advance.
You can change 2nd and following flights before 1st leg flown.
However, if you want to change a flight beyond original ticket validity (1 year from ticket issue), you have to call AMC. You can't change via online.
