Ana family account

Does anyone have experience in opening a ANA Family Account?
We are a family of three and each of us have individual ANA account.
Any advice of how to proceed?

Select one account as main and register the family account. It will cost you 1000 miles. Then you can register the family members. Took some days for me tho...

I have a follow-up question: my mother has an ANA account with a few thousand miles in it. If I set up family sharing, will I be able to pool the miles, even though neither one of us has taken an international ANA flight for years? (we have accrued mainly through partner airlines, and credit card transfers from American Express) It seems to be a condition, but I couldn't find any info on what exactly it means (just an international flight with an ANA partner, or ANA-operated) and whether it's enforced.

Did you ever get an answer to this? I'm also wondering if the international ANA flight within 3 years rule is enforced/what exactly it means.
