Can we get an ANA Card / SuperFlyers Card consolidated thread?

I got a SFC last year and would like to discuss with more veteran users if I am missing anything special.

What exactly do you want to discuss? I suggest simply asking your questions, and if there is enough momentum the thread will naturally become the place for said discussion.

OK thank you.

Do you know if there is any benefit of getting my wife a family card? (like, does that mean she is also *G and we could bring each one another guest to the lounge when travelling?)

From what I have read on Japanese sites such as here (https://zeninaru.com/super-flyers-familycard/), family card members are afforded the same benefits as the main SFC member including *A gold and lounge access. The difference from the main SFC member is that they don't receive bonus miles for card renewal and upgrade points based on previous year's ANA Group flights.

she gets lounge access but is not *G, so no +1s.

But then if she is *A gold she sould get the +1 right? Post below says the opposite :/

If I am flying with her and my mother in law, and I have the SFC card and she has the family card, will the 3 of us be able to access the lounge?

Some Japanese websites are saying you can get 4 people into the lounge with main SFC card + one SFC family card, but I would defer to Tokyoite and his actual experience if that is not the case. Maybe it works for ANA operated lounges but not other Star Alliance ones? It is strange though - the family cards have the star alliance gold mark on them as well, right?

Yes.

BTW, do you have a child ?
O.K. he/she can have a SFC family card if his/her age is eligible.
Then, 3 SFC card holders and 3 guests can use the lounge when your family members and some friends travel togother.
Also, your real mother and father, 2nd child, 3rd child, 4th child, 5th child, .... can have SFC family cards if they depend on you.

Well this is great, thank you. My parents live in my home country so I don't think they can get a SFC, but it is good to know kids can also get the family card. Great news for sure. Thank you

As I mentioned, SFC is a credit card, so real kids can't get cards :-)
They have to be 18 years old or more.

Does the ticket need to be paid with the SFC card for *G benefits or are you a real *G as long as you have the card?

Actual experience at NH, OZ and LH: You can get four people into the *G lounge with SFC Main Card and one SFC Family Card.
