NH115 YVR-HND Business Seats
 
Does anyone know what type of business class seats have been on ANA lately from YVR to HND? Just curious if I'll be getting the staggered seats or the 2-2-2 configuration. Flying on Dec 8.

I think YVR-HND always have the 2-class 787-8, with the recliner seat in business class. Just checked on flightradar24 and it's the regional configuration plane flying this route as well

This isn't true. They just changed it a few months ago. I normally fly this route 3 times a year and you'll get the normal staggered business class back in May.

Looks like lie flats in business (789) are coming back to YVR/HND route around March 25th; at the same time the SJC/NRT flight moves from a 788 to 789 plane (both lie flat but 788 had the 1-1-1 config in alternate rows)

Confirmed by ANA in a press release today.

I ended up booking CX for April travel. Had the 789 been reinstated into the schedule earlier, I would have booked NH instead. Oh well.....

The announcement states that they're bringing back 789 for this route for the summer season. I, too, am traveling HND - YVR in mid-December and I'm so worried that they'll revert back to 788 for the winter season.

For those of you that fly this route more often, was last year the first time NH115 was changed to 788?

I'm thinking about booking this flight for early 2019 and if NH typically swaps this route for 788 during winter season I may have to pass...
