MEX-NRT Carry On
We are traveling MEX-NRT in J this January. Anyone fly this route have experience with MEX staff and weighing carry ons? We have to make a NRT-HND self transfer and don’t think it’ll happen if we check.

What flight are you leaving on from HND? Just trying to see if there are some hints to give for the transfer.

There is a 7:44 direct train that takes 1h 49m, but be warned that it is a standard commuter train with unreserved seating and no particular space for luggage.

It is a bit tight but should be quite doable. There are busses at 7:00, 7:40, and 8:00 that should be fine. They are scheduled for 1h 40m but usually more like 1h 10m in actual time. But certainly no time to stop and smell the roses.

The busses rarely sell out, and as long as you are at the counter 5 minutes before departure they can usually get you on board. I think I have done with even less time. They'll call the staff at the bus stop to let them know some more pax are coming.
