ANA J vs. ANA F to SIN

Just curious what everyone's opinion is on the two. I'm constructing a reward itinerary and wondering if the 6pm departure from NRT is better to enjoy the First class experience (773) or if I should just take the redeye from HND (788) for more time in Tokyo?

Don't know if the 788 is the flat bed or not. If so, and it were I, and those were the only options, I'd probably take the faster option. Normally though I'd go for F on SQ out of HND.

OP check to see if the seat map shows staggered seats @ 1-2-1, 1-1-1 configuration vs 2-2-2 recliner seats.

Take J if you save an significant amount of miles.

As NRT locates quite far from Tokyo, you maybe exhausted the transportation to the airport, I suggest HND dept flt on 789 in J

Yes, they do. The flight was only half full, so they setup the square across the aisle as my bed, so I could go back and forth as I wanted. You get the full amenity kit and pyjamas. Meal service seemed pretty similar (menu was slightly smaller on the NRT-SIN, vs SFO-NRT that I'd just come off of).

Is the square setup good for traveling with my family? It seems even the middle seats are quite blocked off from each other by the wall.

Square is definitely not, but the J seat isn't really helpful either.

I believe when it comes to travel you should let your family rest and get some privacy.

Infant needs to be passed between my wife and me which is why I am interested in this case. I guess we are going to do J as we are doing singapore suites a couple days later and 2 infant fares in first gets a little pricey.

Thanks for the info.

Oh infant. You can probably fit the infant in the window that's between the 2 suites. However, if I was the parent I would hand it over above the window/door.

Yes! Glad you checked into that as many are surprised at check in.
I heard it was 10% of FULL fare First.

The difference between business and first was 225.00 or 875.00 USD. I mentally made a note to just put 650$ in the college fund instead
