ANA Award Search Engine Changed?
Tried to log in to perform an award search. It seems like they changed the whole system; and for the worse.
I hope this is not permanent, and just related to the Amadeus and new award chart switch.
When you load the main ANA homepage (US site - but also present on the Japanese site), there is a tab for "book award". Takes you to a log in screen, and then you get a very basic search engine.

They announced they were changing the award chart April 11th, but one would assume the interface would stay the same.
Many years ago, they had a zone based chart and they switched to distance based. The interface stayed the same through the switch.

The new award search engine is useless and a disgrace to the Japanese know how. Its done on purpose to frustrate the members and their customers.

Not going to pass judgment yet (but it may seem like I have); this looks crazier than LM.
Did an LHR-MUC search. One of the outbound options was LHR-BRU-NUE-MUC!!!

There is a page summarizing what is in and what is out. Weekly is out and that is what I used the most. +/-days are not shown anywhere and it does not even have a way to start a search again. One day searches are ridiculous, even UA is now better.

Just tried a search and it gave me a maintenance message. So they are still working on things, but doubt the interface will change.
United and Aeroplan are not showing any NH flights in their award searches tonight, but LM is. Not sure if ANA is going to release more seats to their members, but saw an F award mid May that did not show on LM. Other dates did show same availability on both ANA and LM.
