When I do a search, it all looks fine (can select "OK" for partner award both out and inbound), then this:
"The selected flight is available, but the class you selected is not available or no setting.
Please check User Hints for more information, and search again. (Error Code:E_A01P03_0014)"
I've checked User Hints and followed them to no avail.

I do not fully understand the explanation, but I have not used ANA's site recently and it may make sense in the context of what you are actually trying to search.

The key for me doing this is to find partner flights that don't have steep surcharges. I was hoping to do a RTW with NH b/c we have 3-4 spots we'd like to go, but I'll do the RT if nec with an open jaw and a stopover. Thanks for the help!

Generally speaking the ones without an fuel surcharge are the bad partners like UA lol. I'd rather pay fuel if I have to than go on UA

I think I may have figured out why I'm getting the error message. Wondering if anyone can confirm. When I search for 5x J, I see "OK" for combo of partner flights but "waitlisted" for ANA flights (though if I search for 1x ANA it's "OK"). If I select OK for partner 5x J for inbound and outbound, the next page gives me an error and I can't proceed.
If I go to UA site and search for same, I see only standard awards, not savers. My suspicion is that ANA only makes saver business awards available on their site. If there is only a standard business award on UA, it won't show up on ANA search tool. I've not yet checked the other partners. Maybe this is just something basic that I've missed somehow: partner award bookings only show saver seats?
EDIT: Actually, now I've checked some more flights on UA and ANA. Found Business Saver on UA but those flights won't show up on ANA. Basically, I need to figure out how to search for flights bookable w/ ANA. I'm happy to call in to actually book, if the legs aren't showing up on ANA, but I get something different on Aeroplan, UA, and ANA.

3 questions: assuming one must begin and end in country of departure (correct me if that's wrong).
On RTW, can there be a stopover in country of departure? BNA -ORD (stopover) -NRT (stopover)-IST (stopover)-ORD-BNA.
On RTW, how is Mexico considered? It is same zone but different country as US. Could I begin in CUN, stopover in ORD and after circumscribing the globe end in MEM?
On RTW, how is South America and Caribbean considered? Read somewhere they are grouped in with US, making stopovers (if not allowed in country of departure) impossible. Seems highly restrictive and antithetical to a RTW.

So basically I an planning to fly into Bolivia with a stopover in Ecuador.
I tried booking online, but it diD not allow me to do a stopover. I called over the phone, but I get something like "it's not in the *A schedule." I am not sure if I had a wrong itinerary or misunderstood the agent.
Planned schedule:
3/2: UA 3881 PIT - IAH
UA 1441 IAH - SAL
AV 457 SAL - UIO
3/5: AV 7388 UIO-VVI
3/12: AV 246 LPB - BOG
AV 20 BOG - JFK
3/13: UA 6260 LGA - IAD
UA 6141 IAD - PIT
1. Do I have a valid routing to UIO?
2. Is Open Jaw ok? Fly into VVI and fly out of LPB
3. I could not get the last two legs work online, but not sure if I can still add them as JFK is not a United hub.
Thanks for any insight and help.
4. Invalid because there is published no routing between PIT and UIO through SAL. But the website allows it for non-stopover.

2. Open Jaw of VVI/LPB is fine.
3. 3/13 LGA-PIT is not available.
I think this is really your issue: award availability.
I was able to price out:
3/2 PIT-IAD-UIO UA6244/CM305/CM211
3/5 UIO-VVI AV7388
3/12 LPB-bogota-JFK AV246/AV244
All in Business for the correct price of 88K miles + $120.13.
So play around and you should get most of what you want. Just make sure award inventory is there.

And anyway to route it to ORD in return rather than JFK, but still through BOG?
