SQ doesn't release any seats to partners in general except in economy I think and on select routes in Asia. Maybe within a few days of a flight, but via Aeroplan it's been a long time since anyone's been able to book on SQ.

Anyone know how these charts are applied to multi-zone tickets? I tried to book North America -> Japan -> Thailand -> Europe -> North America. In Aeroplan lingo this would be a mini-RTW, Japan as the destination and a stopover on either side. Not sure if it is possible here or what the costs are.

Site gave me back an error saying that I can't book multi-zone on the website, and to call in. I'd like to call in but I'm in the UAE and Skype is blocked. Bleh.

Correct me if I'm wrong but to my understanding this year's most major change was you cannot go from North America to Asia VIA Europe.

So if you head into or from Europe it would be an let alone One-Way instead of Layover/stop-over.

ANA's site doesn't even allow me to book simple itinerarys.

I always have to call in and start arguing before they agree to waive it.

Have you tried google phone?

Trying to use AMEX award points on ANA

Want to go Chicago to Athens- can i have a stopover on the way?

How about on the way back?

Also can i open jaw this roundtrip?

Say Chicago - Budapest-Athens out

Istanbul-Stockholm -Chicago back

Thanks for any help- spent a lot of time trying to research this but failed to get any clarity on this

What's the reason you want to use ANA for this?
The fuel surcharge is absurd and depending on the cabin class you fly.

Which airline are you planning on flying?

How do I price out IAH-Japan-SIN-IAH. It is multi-zone. Can I get SIN as a stopover while North American and Japan as my origin and destination?

No, you can't.
A higher mileage zone has to be destination.

Which FF program is allowing you to do that now?

Guys I'm a bit confused about the new system.
Trying to search for ANA First Class availability using their website, but then to eventually book through Miles & More or Krisflyer.

On some flights I see ANA Award as "Waitlist" however there is availability for "Star Alliance Award". Does that mean the same seat on an ANA flight isn't available at a cheaper rate for ANA members, but it is available at the higher partner award rate (and therefore also available to partners)?

If only an ANA Award is available, is that available to partners?

Thanks for your help.

Call ANA and ask them this. This is an first one for me.

If you're transferring from AMEX to use ANA, than you should transfer to Etihad instead.

I think it is just buggy website. When I click through on these phantom "OK" under the StarAlliance column, a pop-up comes up saying seats are not available.

That's good. Can you try double confirm these with either UA or AC? Or just follow your plan and book with SQ. Please share your experience with us.

Now I'm getting buggy website and no availability through partners (UA). Sigh.

Looks like we need ANA Award to be showing as OK.
