anyone know the answer to this? the OP indicated that if it's on Star Alliance partner, then the regular ANA award chart applies? which means it's 90K in J during regular season?

Anyone able to get a better translation of this link? https://www.ana.co.jp/amc/news/info/...vision/#detail
I used google translate and some of it is clear, but some of the most important parts (the routing rules) are not clear at all.
Specifically about transiting a third region. Best I can tell you can't transit a third region if it costs more than your end point. So theoretically US-SYD via Asia would not work but US-SYD via Middle East would be okay. I can't really say with any confidence until we get a better translation.

PLUS:-:
You cannot do US-SYD via Middle East because it violates the geographical area (IATA Area 1, 2 and 3) restrictions.

Hey guys, trying to book an award J ticket from US to EU next month for a family member. Right now it's pricing out at 85k miles. But I see that the award chart is changing in a couple of days and I'm not sure what the new amount will be. The wiki above seems to suggest that Zone 6 to Zone 7 in J will be 72k miles but when I go to the ANA website it has a different partner award chart, linked below, suggesting that it should be 88k miles. Which one should I be following? Any clarity offered is much appreciated.

The correct amount is 88K miles. The chart linked in Wiki is dated from 11/2014 when the changes were first announced. The current chart on ANA website is as of 03/2015. It appears, ANA, has made some further revision since, unfortunately.

Sorry I am trying to figure this out for a friend. Trying to see if we should transfer the AMEX MR points over to use on NH.
Looks like the new Stopover rules are here http://www.ana.co.jp/wws/japan/e/loc...1_2_popup.html
Would the following be doable with NH on Star Alliance rule-wise:
LAX-xxx-xxx-SIN (Stopover)-PER (Destination)-xxx-xxx-LAX
How about if we can't find a nonstop and SIN-PER becomes SIN-BKK-PER? (Any rules on maximum permitted miles?)
I guess under the new chart, it is Zone 6-Zone 10 so it is 75,000 miles round trip - with the stopover?
It seems there are no change fees other than 3,000 miles for redeposit?
Thanks.
