787 back in business on NH 1078?

How accurate is FlightAware or Flightstats when it comes to the actual plane flown? This page seems to indicate that the 787 came back into service for NH 1078 on September 5 rather than the appointed September 20 date. Has anyone flown NRT-SEA the past few days?

ACARS reports that JA806A, a 787, operated 1078 on 9/5.

Code:

Results for NH1078 for the 5th of September 2013
JA806A    logged @ 17:22 GMT (1502)

805 and 814, both 787s, were used on 9/6 and 9/7 respectively.

Good to hear. I'm scheduled on NH1078 in mid-October in Business, and have been hoping very much that it will be the expected 787. I'm looking forward to it.

Anyone here flown this recently with a report? Thanks!

We're flying in a couple months. Four of us sitting together, but on 3 separate confirm#'s for award travel reasons. Initially booked when it was 787. Then we all got split up when they changed to 777. Had to call ANA to get seated back together because I couldn't change seats online on ANA site. Then they changed the aircraft back to 787. We got split up once again. Called again and luckily we were again barely able to be seated back together. They'd better not change the aircraft again, because the flight's now almost full.

Flgihtaware / Flight Radar Showing Weird Flight Path

I thought the flown path shown was a mistake when looking at this flight's history (monitoring flight as I have a short connection in Nov to BKK) but it's doing it again today. Does anyone know if this really is the path they're flying?

I can not believe that that is an accurate depiction of any routine, commercial airliners' flight path. It's got to be bad data for (at least some of) the X coordinates.

I live in Seattle and am familiar with flights routes around here, and there have been no weather or other extraordinary events in recent memory that could possibly explain a nonsense flight path as depicted. Looks like bad data to me.

I'll be on that flight in about 3 weeks and if we end up going back and forth from northern Idaho to hundreds of miles offshore as part of our approach to KSEA, I'll eat my shoe.
