Best benefit is the option to exchange miles for travel credit. The other benefits are pretty worthless IMO.

If you fly domestic frequently, they're a good program compared to any other *A FFP thanks to the 2x PP bonus. But otherwise I'm inclined to agree, especially given the forthcoming "renewal"...
