AZ Refusing to Credit Miles for Niki, Jet, Etihad combination

Recently I flew combination of flights Niki (some operated by Etihad) and Jet Airways. I was able to claim all benefits of AZ Elite benefits while traveling (lounge access, business checkin etc) but the miles were not credited to my AZ account. When I claimed using retrocredit I got following reply:

Gentile .....,

Cordiali saluti.

Il Programma MilleMiglia

Essentially only AZ and EY can be credited. However the website clearly says its possible to earn miles on Niki and Jet flights.

Anyone else had similar experience?

Similar issues on my side.
Flights ticketed VA and operated by VA / EY and CFA number added at booking time.
Surprisingly VA flights got credited even though my tickets did not show my CFA number on.
EY flight not credited (despite having my CFA number printed on).
I am now awaiting an answer from retro-credit for more than 3 weeks now......

Alitalia credits miles according the marketing carrier code. So the earning rules for EY will apply:

You would only get miles with a EY flight number, if this flight is operated by EY or AZ:

"Miles can only be earned on flights operated by the Partner Airline or in collaboration between Alitalia and the Partner Company."
