Special Offer: 15% Off AZ Flights Booked This Weekend

Another special offer from Alitalia, similar to this one (but only 15% this time, not 20%; and a more restrictive window for travel).

15% off tickets booked online between 12:00 on 22nd June and 12:00 on 25th June, in economy or business (not premium economy) for travel between 1st September and 30th November 2012.

Applies in at least the UK and German markets - I haven't checked others.

Special offer code is 'SPECIAL15UK', 'SPECIAL15DE', etc.

Available on most european websites but not Italy or EN_EN. Log on to NL_EN or BE_EN to book this offer in english and euros! Works on all flights.

Disappointing it only works from 1 September until 30 November - I guess they want to fill up flights in that silghtly dead period - but 15% is quite a good discount, so yay anyway...

Thanks for posting! Much appreciated!

I tried a few itins but it seems only pure AZ itins work. When you include a KL segment it fails. See for more: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/18808063-post11.html

Unfortunately I had the same experience (I fortunately have trips to book for the Autumn!) again. So at least with the discount code, it is confirmed that it is apparently not possible to book a multi-airline itinerary on AZ. Hopefully, after the weekend, someone will soon book such an itinerary at the regular price and tell us if at least that works or not.

I just booked AMS-NRT-BRU for €327 using this deal.
Pretty sweet I'd say.

I can't get it to work at all for Moscow-Rome-Brindisi

Any why does Alitalia always hide the code on the website? I have to come here find someone who's unearthed it.

Like their award flights, it's always pretty measly (or dreadful availability) on my route. I'm trying to burn miles before they get whipped away (under Italian law on loyalty schemes, I think).

Glad others are having more success though.

Note that this is an old thread (for a weekend offer in June 2012). However, there is a similar offer for this weekend (20th-23rd July 2012), listed in this thread: Another Alitalia 15% sale coming up today

There are different discount codes for the different offer weekends. The codes for this week (20-23/07/2012) are generally 'WE15xx' (where xx = country code).

However, the offer in the Russian market seems to be slightly different. It's a flat 1,100 RUB off (not a percentage) and the code is 'WERU'.

In theory, this weekend's offer is also limited to specific travel dates (although at least one poster seems to have successfully used the codes outside of the specified range).
