If the aircraft offers Y+ (Classica Plus) then it's the new config.

if you paid via credit card it sometimes appears in the description you find in the statement. this was true for amex although recently It does not seem to be working every time. other than that call the service desk.

772 honeymoon seats

Flying JFK - FCO on 772 business class. Wanted row 3 honeymoon, but its taken. Have the option of row 1 or 5. Any idea which one would have less disturbance? is the galley in front of row 1 or behind row 5?

All you need to know about configurations on Alitalia's A330's and B777's

I flew row 5 honeymoon recently and it did not seem so noisy, but that was probably due to the complete lack of interest from the FAs that only showed up for dinner and breakfast during the entire flight. food come from front.

OK, So an update on A330s suing original post guidelines. There are 3 types of them:

Old configuration

The two old "Air One"-style A330's are still running on BOS and YYZ only (I was told by 2 different Alitalia personnel, though they mentioned sometimes subbed on ORD).

The seating is 20 J and 263 Y. The J seats are horrible, kinda falling apart and the tray table does not get flat if you are big or tall (you thighs or knees prevent it from being flat). Very bad hard product. On an overnight from US the other problem is that lighting is centrally managed and even if J is not eating and could go to sleep lights are kept on for long time because Y needs them on. Ridiculous if you ask me

2014 configuration

All as in the opening post.

Etihad A330-200
- Registered as I-EJGB

One of these operating as AZ with AZ livery and all but owned by Etihad. No Premium Economy. New magnifica as on the 2014 A332, with 1-2-1 in J. 22J 240Y

AZ620 FCO - LAX B772 foot space

Hi there

I understand that the AZ B772 (actually looking at AZ620 from FCO - LAX) has limited foot space in Economy seats A, E, G and L because of an electronic box (I imagine the IFE systems?) under the seat in from of you. Is this in all rows or only on certain specific ones? Is it possible to book a window seat in economy without this box at my feet?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Does anyone know which A330's and 777's have been refurbished with the New Magnifica class? I know that the A330 "Artemisia Gentilishchi" has the new business class but do not know of any others.

Does anyone know when the last of the old configured A330s are going to be reconfigured with the lie flat beds? I'm looking to book in May 2016 and want to avoid the recliner seats at all costs. Thanks

Will they all be refurbished before May 2016? Planning on booking a trip from ORD but don't want to if there is even any chance of it being the old product.

Flew on the 2 class 332 from AUH this morning in business (based in AUH, normally an EY customer). Not bad at all. Basically the EY seat with leather covering.
