Regarding the Exit Glacier - As of Memorial Day, the road to the glacier was still covered with snow and closed about a mile away from the parking lot.

Oh wow...I would never have guessed that!

Hopefully it melts soon. We've had rainy and 50° for the last several days, though, so we'll see...

I drove to Exit Glacier from Seward and parked at the new Park Center on the 30th of May. They were still moving in, but they were doing ranger programs out front. There was snow around, but the roads were not blocked. There was very little snow on the walk out to the glacier, about 100 feet total. Took pictures right at the base of the glacier where the sign said warning.

It is clear now.

Oh, yes, I forgot to mention the time required to walk out to the glacier was 10 minutes for my family due to the large groups of people on the trail. So plan on 30 minutes to an hour minimum.
