Private Arctic Circle Day Trip Tour Provider Recommendation

Greetings all-

As the title states, I am searching for a tour operator that offers an Arctic Circle tour out of Fairbanks (12+ hours in duration is what I'm seeing in general) for one to two to three people (i.e., "private"). All I am currently seeing online are tours of 9+ people, or "private" but still with a higher minimum headcount being necessary.

Pointers, thoughts, recommendations, links?

Thank you!

Will you be in Anchorage at any point in your trip? If so, you can ride round trip on Alaska Airlines nonstop to Kotzebue for around $300 most days. Kotzebue is an Inupiat community on an inlet of the Arctic Ocean, above the arctic circle. You could spend several hours on the ground before returning to ANC or you could spend the "night" at a comfortable Native-owned hotel across the street from the beach. Learn a little about the Inupiat way of life while you're at it.

This flight looks interesting. What if I went in say early December, are there daily flight? Won't get stuck there due to weather?
I took a brief look on AS web site, it appears to be a price "bidding" system. Not familiar with that.

There are daily flights to Kotzebue year round, one non-stop from Anchorage, one routed through Nome. Anytime you go to an outlying community in Alaska, be prepared to not return when planned, weather happens. Most of Kotzebue is within walking distance of the Alaska Airlines terminal. The hotel as mentioned is comfortable and up to date. The community is interesting to visit, in part because it doesn't really cater to tourists. Barack Obama visited in September, 2015 and was the first sitting president to travel in the US above the Arctic Circle

What drseagrass said.

I'd note, however, that in early December you're only going to get a couple of hours of daylight (it's the arctic, after all) and it likely will be pretty damned cold. But if one of your bucket list items is to stand on a frozen ocean someplace, here's your chance.

(A friend actually conducted his wedding on the sea ice off the beach at Kotzebue. Different strokes and all that.)
