Denali Main Road Closure - Might be Through 2023 or Beyond

Seems part of the main (only) road deep in to Denali was built on top of a glacier (or permafrost?), which has become unstable. The road will be closed at mile marker 43 (of 92 miles) at least until 2023 or until the NPS can get a permanent bridge built.

Very bad news for the Kantishna lodges, Wonder Lake campground, etc. I believe they'll have to close (again) until the bridge is done. The only way in/out would be by air, which (a) surely won't attract enough customers and (b) was already unreliable in high season due to unpredictable weather.
