Looking for advice on Anchorage, Juneau, and Glaciers

Hey I am looking to do a 10 day trip to Alaska. I'd like to do it so flying into either Anchorage/Juneau and flying out the other. Going between these two places, I'm looking most to see glaciers. With that said, what is some recommendations, ideas, suggestions of how to plan the trip. Along the way going between Anchorage/Juneau would appreciate places to see picture esque spots. I realize Juneau is landlocked, so probably boat is best idea. Seems like having a car in general isn't a good idea.

Would be most grateful for advice, tips from people who have been on this journey. Thanks

When are you planning on traveling? Are you traveling alone? Willing to rent a car?
