How many people on this site are familiar with all of the obscure airport codes, and yet that doesn't stop most contributors from continuing the practice of using codes, rather than just mentioning the airport's name or city. You need to be "in the know" to participate in the discussion, it seems.

In Alaska, there are really only two main highways between Fairbanks and Anchorage, so it should be quite clear which ones are involved!
