BOB Airport - Bora Bora

I was recently in Bora Bora. Truly one of the most beautiful places I have been to. As @BOB W is a longtime contributor to this forum, I wanted to share a few pictures of the Airport named after him.

Approaching BOB Airport, no vehicles honking their horns.

View from Terminal

Boat Docks in front of terminal.

Interestingly you can walk from the dock to the two gates, no Security checkpoint.

Currently on my first Alaska flight of the year (and first since April, 2018) enjoying a fruit and cheese plate. Nice to have the RDU-SEA nonstop for short weekend trips.

Hello all. It's been awhile since I've been on here and also been awhile since I've taken a trip. Unfortunately getting laid off cuts down on business as well as personal travel. With being laid off I've had to reprioritize my life and that includes reducing how much stuff I have that I don't need or can't afford to store in a 2 bedroom condo in the SF Bay Area. I have these barely used Sky Marks Alaska and Horizon models I would like to find a good home for. I'm asking $20 each for them plus a small shipping fee. I would prefer to sell all 4 of them together but can sell them individually. Please pm me if you are interested.

As always,

Safe travels

Rob

Im on a PDX - DCA flight and just realized they never offered digi players. Wonder if its just a one-off or if theyre going to start phasing them out of long haul flights now too?

Nevermind - I was totally wrong on this one. They just made an announcement about collecting them, so I must have just missed them when they came out. I think Im just paranoid after they removed them from all the mid-length flights

They don't offer them on the LAX-SJO flight. At 2721 miles, it is one of the longest flights in the network. The flight map is still my favourite channel....

Chester baby, pre-departure drink on my seat, for me
I've been a valuable guest
Chester baby, and hurry down the runway tonight

Chester baby, a purple 321neo too, from you
Let's live it up in the sky
Chester daddy, so hurry down the runway tonight

Think of all the cities of bliss
Think of all the flights I haven't missed
Imagine that, there's more to love...
If you'll just clear me on that upgrade list

Chester honey, I want a partner airline that flies so far
For my MVP Gold
Chester baby, so hurry down the runway tonight

Chester baby, one thing that does make me go, GoGo
Get that 2Ku for me
Chester baby, so hurry down the runway tonight

Chester darling, and fill My Account with Golden Guest Upgrades
A lounge pass would be fine
Chester baby, and hurry down the runway tonight

Come and share some fruit and cheese
With a glass of hazelnut please
North of Expected I see
Will you make flying better for me?

Chester baby, forgot to mention one little tug: a plug
To power up my smartphone
Chester baby, and hurry down the runway tonight
Hurry down the runway tonight
Hurry, tonight
