Partner Miles Posting/MVP Desk Reliability
Now 5+ weeks out from a KLM flight I took from MUC to AMS on 10/13/07 prior to AMS-SEA flight the next day. My AMS-SEA flight posted several weeks ago, but the MUC flight is still MIA. My AS MVPG number was in the system and printed on the boarding pass, so I know it's not that. Seems like this happens on about 25% of my KLM/Air France flights. Okay, c'est la vie and the Dutch/French have gone way downhill. However, I faxed in a copy of my boarding pass with all the required info to the MVP desk two weeks ago and it still hasn't appeared in my account. How long is it taking the MVP desk to get on top of these things these days? Missy, any guidance from the inside?

You mean you faxed it to customer care, right? The MVP desk doesnt handle flight crediting.
Since it's been 2 weeks I'd follow it up with a phone call to Customer Care.

"For Partner Activity - Air, Car, or Hotel
Mileage credit may be requested by providing the following:
* For air travel - a copy of the passenger receipt and at least one boarding pass.
* For hotels - a copy of the hotel folio or bill.
* For car rentals - a copy of the car rental agreement - (Avis, Hertz and Thrifty require a flight in conjunction with your rental for mileage credit).
Copies should be mailed or faxed directly to the Mileage Plan. Be sure to include your name and Mileage Plan account number with all correspondence.

Followup: I gave them a call and they tell me that by coincidence my fax was just entered today, so it should show up tomorrow. Sounds like they're running about a week behind their normal latency.
