Santa Rosa LAX Connections

I am a UA flyer for the most part, but I am getting tired of driving down to SFO/OAK and want to give the STS flights a try.

My question is has anyone transferred from Horizon to Delta/Continental/United at LAX? How much time do I need and can they interline baggage? I can find as short as 90 minute layovers but I'm curious how close I would be cutting it.

Thanks!

Fog?

Also, from remembering when UA flew to STS the 6:00am flights were fogged in quite often. Does this still happen frequently (the delays, not the fog :p)?

I would definitely allow 2 hours since you have to exit the terminal and either take the shuttle or walk to the next terminal and then reclear the sometimes long security lines.
