Soup soup everywhere- but what type, where and when?

That is the question that is this thread...

Maple Leaf Lounges in YWG & YVR...

Soup is great in both locations. Only complaint is that I would like to see somethiong else otehr than the wildfield salad...

When I am in YVR, I will usually go to the ML lounge vs. the Board Room as I think the ML lounge is much nicer & spacious.

My mom really liked the tomato basil they had in the SEA BR on 3/07/09 ^
The tomato-basil is excellent - I've been known to have 3 cups of it when particularly hungry; I loathe broccoli, so am glad the SEA club has two choices.

I love BR soup, but the only times I have it, I spill it on myself

Next time you are in the SEA BR would you mind snapping a few photos of the interior and posting them here?

Every time this thread pops up I keep thinking, oh no, AS is dropping the soup in the SEA BR as part of the North of Expected program enhancement.

Glad to see the soup is still there.

Did you wear out the elevator during the taste test?

Must have just missed each other. I was work-lounging downstairs in the business centre .

Was there on an overextended layover (waiting for a ride north of the city) in which I visited all 3 clubs, and stopped by the BR a second time

And no... I used a coffee cup to reduce my carbon footprint

ANC BR 5-4-09 has Steak & Black Bean soup

Not a very rich soup, but has good flavor and real steak in it ^

It is similar to the tortilla soups they serve as well...

Downstairs: Creamy Chicken Soup with wild and wehani rice ^^

Upstairs: not certain, but I heard it was chili of some sort???

And a tip for the soup lovers out there... try to snag the 'mini office' to the right of the soup pot...easy access for refills
