Soup soup everywhere- but what type, where and when?

That is the question that is this thread...

Fresh pot of fire roasted vegetable soup out @pdx. Not too bad of a crowd today.

Thai Chicken Fire and Rice at ANC tonight.

Over E.R. a month since the last post. Perhaps it is time to let this thread end.

Hey! The Delta board just started a whole thread about just this soup. We just need to work a bit harder to keep this going!

Why end it now?? We just went on a "holiday break". I am sure many will start posting again. I will post LAX and SEA next week.

Probably just no sparkling rose. The white has always been available. I wish they would switch to the Y Lamarca Prosecco from the flights. Much better stuff.

Seems that the soup rotation at SEA Boardrooms are:

Boardroom D: Carrot, Parsnip & Ginger (day) then (replaced with Potato & Smoked Bacon (eve) or Fire Roasted Vegetable
Boardroom C: Minestrone & Puget Sound Clam Chowder
Temp Boardroom N: Mushroom & Brie Bisque (I asked at the Front Desk of Boardroom D what was served there)

The Potato & Smoked Bacon went really quick, compared to the Fire Roasted Vegetable. I thought both were good.

Soup at this hour in SEA D lounge is Potato Bacon and Minestrone.

At 11:00 am today PDX was serving Southwest Chicken Tequila Soup. That was pretty tasty.

JFK was serving Steel Cut Oates at 6:45 EST this morning if you want to include morning soup varieties.

This is such a curious topic. I am glad people are enthusiastic about the soups.

If only the soups in the lounges were as tasty as those served on the plane. The soups in a couple of the lounges taste like bad unfiltered tapwater.

An upgrade to the lounges might be to use filtered water to make the soups.

I'd love to get the soups and prosecco from the plane in the lounge. That would be something for which I would be willing to pay more. And the yogurt shot thingies. With prosecco.
