I'm sure I've used my T-Mobile account in the SFO Boardroom before. I know there is no free internet service there, but I have a monthly unlimited T-Mobile account for various reasons, so I use that.

FYI, YVR's boardroom now has free public wireless access in addition to the Telus pay-as-you-go access!

I believe there's shuttle bus service between T3 and T2 at LAX. It may be the same bus as the one that does the T3-Eagle-T4 runs.

I travel through SAN a few times per year. Unfortunately, this still does not help out there, since CO uses the Delta Crown Room in SAN, & entry is only permitted with a DL ticket, per the CO website:

San Diego, CA (SAN)
Delta Crown Room
Terminal 2 near Gate 37
Members must present their membership card and Delta Air Lines ticket issued for same-day departure for entry.
Guests Allowed: Yes

Doesn't AS have access to some DL clubs already?
If you're going through SAN, post a request in the UA forum in the RCC sticky. If someone's in SAN that day, they'll be happy to bring you in. I've done it for a friend on AS to PDX and a FT'er to SEA

Thanks for the thread.

Until reading this, it never occurred to me that I could use the NWA WC using my Alaska Boardroom card.

I have to fly NWA next month for the first time is about seven years and was lamenting the fact that I would not have club access. Now I realize that I do. Woo Hoo!

So it means going through security either late, or twice. And at DCA, since there's no premium passengar line, that can be a crapshoot.

Not very helpful.
You can also use AA in DCA and Ord.
In Bos you can use US

Keep in mind that the SEA WC closes at 2pm or thereabouts. I think that came with the schedule cutback after 9/11, when there were no departures after that time, except for the redeye flts.

The schedule has changed a lot since then, and there are a number of afternoon NW flts that leave after the WC has closed. The view of the Olympics from the WC is IMHO quite nice. I hope the WC is open for your departure.

I was thinking more about my layovers in MSP and DTW--my two least favorite cities, but perhaps I will use the WC at SEA. I think it is open from about 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Back in 1999 I actually met newself in the NW WC here in Seattle. That was when you could just go out to the gate with no ticket. Remember those days?

You are right, the WC does close early however, The current hours of operation is 5:30 AM- 5:30 PM. Unfortunately if you are on a red-eye, the Board Room or Presidents Club would be the only option.

The WC's in DTW are fantastic. There is one small club at each end of the terminal and one larger one in the middle. I prefer the smaller ones on the ends because they are much quieter and have a nice view of the tarmac.

Used the Presidents Club at EWR and CLE the past couple of days.

The guy at CLE looked at my Boardroom membership card and said it was the first AS boardroom card he ever saw. Both very nice clubs.

Now to take this issue one more step further...I have a priority pass membership which gets me into Continental PC but NOT AS Boardroom. With this new agreement between CO and AS, does anyone know if I can get into the AS BR if I can normally get into CO PC with Priority pass?

I do not know the answer to the above but if you think about it the answer MUST be no. Priority Pass contracts with PC and does not with BR. AS has a reciprocal arrangement with CO for club access but PP is not a player in that arrangement. A BR day pass is $25 though.
