Any better offers than 5k bonus for BofA platinum visa?

Any better offers than 5k bonus for BofA platinum visa?
I did a search but couldn't find anything recent. I recall getting a mailer last year for a 10k bonus for the platinum visa but threw it out. Is 5k the best offer available now? Thanks.

I also did a lot of research on the credit card front and I could not find a better deal than BOA's platinum card and 5000 miles. FYI...I have been a Sprint long distance customer since 1997. I called them today to give them my AS Mileage Plan # so I could earn miles (2 miles for every $1 spent). The customer service rep also gave me the 5000 mile promo being offered for new customers. I was pleasantly surprised.

The 3 airline cards offered by BofA (Alaska, America West, USAirways) all more or less keep their promos consistent.
Whereas some cards offer promotion big signup bonuses and fee waivers, I never seem to notice the same from BofA.

If you fill out and submit an application inflight you will get 1,000 additional bonus miles.
