Fare Codes Questions

Can someone help me with the different fare codes on this flight:

F2 U0 A0 Y7 S7 B7 M7 H7 Q7 L7 V7 K7 G7 T7

From archived posts I gather that:

F2 is for paid first class and mileage awards

U is for First Class Upgrades

A is for Saver Award first class.

But what do they others mean?

Thanks.

The others are all various forms of coach fares. They may not all be available for sale on your flight. Some are for award travel, travel industry fares, etc. Y is a full-fare unrestricted fully refundable fare. The rest have some restriction, usually increasing as you go down the line. I think AS uses T for webfare availability. It doesn't mean that 7x the number of fare codes are available for sale, it means that there are at least 7 seats for sale. There may be 100, or there may be 7. Once you see Y and B reading less than the max 7, you can be pretty sure the flight is oversold.

The award code for Saver coach is W class...this will not come up in anything that you look for, but usually a good guess is if T is open W will be open as it is the next one down.

Yes, U is pretty much everything for first class upgrades....MVP/MVP GOLD/5K UP/Paid Uprades/Bank of America Upgrades...F is only for paid First Class and Peak First class awards, and A being Saver First Class

Question - which website[s] shows the full availability screen listed in the first post? It looks like it's straight out of a GDS....

This is one of the best internet sites for looking at fare availability. It has saved me many dollars this year.
