New AS Visa Check card
 

In last Sunday's Seattle Times there was a large ad for the new Bank of America/AS Visa check card. It says you can earn miles (but doesn't say how many) for checking account purchases, plus 3000 bonus miles for the first time you use the card and 1000 "anniversary" miles every year.

Does anyone have any more information about this? I called the B of A number in the ad and waited on hold for 10 minutes and finally gave up. Don’t yet see anything about it on the AS web site.

Depending on the rules and regulations, this could be handy in places where the AS Visa is not accepted-- like Costco, AM/PM, my mortgage company… http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
