Las Palmas, Spain (LPA-Las Palmas) also shows up when you try and type in las vegas and I'm willing to bet $1M that AS will never fly there.

Right but this JUST started showing up and LPA is served by OneWorld partners.

I know, I would be excited about BFI but ultimately AS IT is just usually really bad. They tend to just load up a bunch of destinations many of which are not possible to even get to on a cash ticket sold by Alaska so I never get my hopes up.

Do they also normally load pictures of those destinations?

That makes sense! FRD Friday Harbor appears as well which is a Kenmore destination

That's a bridge in Portland--is there a picture if BFI is the destination?

But those destinatuons are possible to get to on a milage ticket. LPA is a major destination for a oneworld airline for example.

BFI is served by Kenmore, but as far as I know you can only earn in Kenmore, not redeem. If this means anything, I would bet on Kenmore Air redemptions comming soon.

Another possibility is that Kenmore is going to add service at a logical connection point and AS will offer connections (connections at their existing shared aiports, YYJ and PAE don't make much sense but they did just announce YYJ...).
The third possibility would be AS service which would be great, but the least likely. Weren't the denied about 15 years ago?

Does anyone know if this really is new. I have vauge memories of BFI showing up before, but I dont book Seattle as a destination very often.

No, they won't fly there, but you can buy a ticket (in cash or miles) to LPA on the AS website. As of now you can't do that with BFI.

Other Kenmore Air destinations are loaded too. Some way to ticket these on AS.com is surely comming.

Back in May, you could purchase Kenmore connections on alaskaair.com, but that stopped sometime this summer. See this thread: Kenmore Air Partnership - Flights to San Juan Islands through PAE
