I won't be onboard, but I'd need to wear a cougar with how much I flew into PUW. Have fun!

Alas, I'm not on that flight and can't book it anymore. Sads.

Have fun for me and record plenty of videos!

I had to fly on a Q400 the other night from SEA to PDX. Obviously it was a short flight, but holy lord I’ll be happy to see those gone. Every other person had to get off to gate check their bag because the bins are uselessly small, my exit row window in 2E was offset so I couldn’t see a thing, and those seats just aren’t made for full sized humans. Maybe I would have been more nostalgic if I hadn’t booked a first class award ticket before they swapped aircraft and gave me a $75 credit to alleviate the impending pain and suffering. I’m not sure that was enough.

I might be in the minority, but I'm gonna miss these little birds. I know the E175s are objectively better in every way, but there's something about the Q400s. Even in that brief period where all the FAI-ANC flights were on them, I still enjoyed those flights.

Maybe it's that they're the descendant of the DHC Beaver and Otter bushplanes.

That seems to be a failure of the gate agent to hand out those A La Carte tags when people with large bags get their BP scanned. I have flown countless AS segments on the Q400s and it was rare to see someone board with an obviously too large bag (and usually the FA in the front would immediately deal with it).

you and me both … really wish the last revenue flight was better aligned with my calendar, but I’m making it work

So up to 38 people actually boarded with oversize luggage and then had to turn around and swim upstream, get off, and "gate check" their bag? A bit of hyperbole, methinks.
