Just an observation...starting 3 days out, I started monitoring the UG list, i was #1. There were 5 seats for sell upto the 24hr mark...then about an hour later, AS dumped the U space and cleared the top 5 people on the list (i remained #1 on list the entire time).

Ending January with just over 26k revenue miles, and wow, what a shameful state this plane was in — arm rests in row 2 were in-op and taped shut, the back of the seats on row 1 were (barely) taped in place. The APU on the plane was “on sabbatical” as the pilot said prior to take off, and not to worry, this is completely OK.
The only saving grace was the FA Kate was one of the best I’ve had in recent memory.
