FAA flight delays map shows SEA as green. IAH is the only major airport in the country that's currently reporting delays, and that's due to an airport problem ("Equipment/Outage").

Weather.gov says 1.2 inches of snow today. I suspect less than that will fall.

it went all to yvr.

check out AC1055. What a mess. That would have never happened even in Seattle.

Air canada and the yvr/feds have a lot to explain. Even the police didn’t feel it was a priority to get these people off given the lack of water and food.

unless you're reporting from the airport, this is interesting but irrelevant

In all fairness SEA was expecting 5-7 inches of snow today and 127 miles to the north YVR got pummeled to a point of where the airport is still closed.

There are flights still on the tarmac at YVR waiting 5 hours to get to the terminals according to FR24.

scheduled to fly back to SEA from MKE this Friday 12/23. Hope the snowstorm doesn’t preclude the daily round trip flight scheduled. ORD for the following day nearly all filled (Christmas Eve) back to seattle.

Not sure about SEA, but PDX is expecting snow starting on Thursday and turning to freezing rain on Friday.

Forecast looks to be about the same in Seattle, with a wintery mix turning to snow on Friday, at least according to NOAA. I'm connecting through SEA on Friday, so hoping for the best but wondering if this won't be a "Hey, remember when we spent Christmas at the N Gates?" kind of year.

At least there’s more food options this year but most of the restaurants still close at 9PM when there’s still flights until midnight.
