FAA flight delays map shows SEA as green. IAH is the only major airport in the country that's currently reporting delays, and that's due to an airport problem ("Equipment/Outage").

check out AC1055. What a mess. That would have never happened even in Seattle.
Air canada and the yvr/feds have a lot to explain. Even the police didn’t feel it was a priority to get these people off given the lack of water and food.

In all fairness SEA was expecting 5-7 inches of snow today and 127 miles to the north YVR got pummeled to a point of where the airport is still closed.
There are flights still on the tarmac at YVR waiting 5 hours to get to the terminals according to FR24.

I am scheduled to fly in to Seattle from FAI/ANC on Wednesday and connect to the MKE flight thursday. Looks like MKE and ORD are going to have a potential major winter storm Thursday/Friday although nothing posted on AS website other than the SEA snow event. Was able to reschedule FAI/ANC/ORD/MKE leaving Tuesday night and arriving Wednesday morning. Avoid SEA completely and arrive before the storm on Thursday. I have had enough cancellations this year.

Forecast looks to be about the same in Seattle, with a wintery mix turning to snow on Friday, at least according to NOAA. I'm connecting through SEA on Friday, so hoping for the best but wondering if this won't be a "Hey, remember when we spent Christmas at the N Gates?" kind of year.
