50% Bonus EQM for CA Flights (10/1-11/10/2022)
As seen on Twitter:
looks like it applies to all flights to, from, and within California. Guess there’s not enough elites for next year in the golden state!

I am glad that AS set a cap to the EQM bonus; though, I am disappointed that there is an EQM bonus. I hope AS doesn’t offer any other EQM-related bonuses this year.

Not clear from terms, but I'd assume this would also stack on top of class of service bonuses? (so a 2311 mile DCA - LAX flight in C, would earn 4044 normally, and with this would earn 6066?)
Update: Called customer care and spoke w/ mileage plan reps.. They hadn't heard of the special offer yet (lol), but did some digging around and determined it is calculated after the CoS bonus, so 6066 miles in my example.

Interesting that the website fine print also states "Bonus EQMs earned via this offer will not count toward certain MVP Gold 75K and MVP Gold 100K benefits, such as the 50k bonus miles granted on reaching MVP Gold 75K status or American Airlines international upgrade certs granted on reaching MVP Gold 100K status"

Based on the Twitter comments it looks like this applies to flights booked before today as long as they fly during the window (despite the "Book now!" line). Great to hear, I have a SFO-BOS RT booked the last week of October and it was looking like I'd finish the year 2K short - the bonus will put me over the line and not having to contemplate a MR.

Sadly, this will not do anything for me. If AS ever gets around to posting my Condor flight from May, I will be getting MVP. If not, even though I have four flights touching CA in October, it won’t be enough and I will fall into the big void of non-status flyers (or is there still a soft landing?). Don’t think I will fly enough for the rest of the year to get to MVPG.
