Planned SAN-PAE overnight mileage run to make MVPG for 2022; if my math is correct, this promo should allow me to break 39,000 with other travel already booked in 2022, simple intra-California round trip (SAN-SBA, for example) should push me over the top. I looked at paying for first on a planned trip, but not worth the $$, nor does itt appear to make financial sense to upfare any of my existing tickets, so a MR may still be in my near future.

I saw this the other day and it couldn't be more perfect timing (well, it could be if it went through the 12th). Four of my six mileage run flights touch California, including two tcons. Originally I was going to hit MVPG by a mere 37 miles, but this will give me some actual breathing room.

This also works for me as I have a trip DEN-SEA-SFO-LAX-SFO-SEA-DEN later this month. So four flights will qualify for the bonus. But the wording about no AA upgrades is a bit worrisome. I was able to use my two 2022 versions with not a lot of trouble.

Mine posted immediately as well, but less EQM than Id calculated based on a C fare COS bonus, so maybe its not stacking as the MP rep told me it would.. Gonna call tomorrow and see what the deal is, and see if they can add more based on what the rep told me before changing my ticket from main > first..

I take it this was for your LAX-DCA flight you mentioned up-thread? I agree with your 2311 (base) * 1.75 (CoS bonus) * 1.5 (CA promo) = 6066 EQM calculation, so if that's not what you ended up getting, could you tell us what it was instead? I'm guessing 5200 EQM? If so, that would mean that both the CoS bonus and CA promo were calculated against the base rather than stacked (ie. 2311 + (2311 * 0.75) + (2311 * 0.5) = 5200).

Update: spoke w/ customer care again, agent apologized for the first agent's misinformation and clarified the bonus applies only to base flight miles.. They made a note in my account so if I'm short that amount at end of year, they'll manually bump me up to next status level, but I'm still pretty frustrated with their lack of clarity in the terms/conditions here, and the incorrect information being provided resulting in more spending on my part.

I didn't get a dedicated email but in my monthly mileage summary email from AS this morning there was a little blurb about this promo at the bottom with link to the website explaining it and T&Cs.

On Monday I flew PAE-SFO on an I fare, and received 2130 EQM, which makes me think they did stack. (Though still didn't multiply like MapleLeaf93's original logic.)
100% (base) + 50% (COS bonus) + 50% (CA promo) + 100% (PAE promo) = 300%
710 miles (not 711) * 300% = 2130
