You've been given complimentary MVP Gold 75K status

Alaska must be working extra hard to retain business travelers given this email. My MVP 75K status was extended during the pandemic but I didn't fly enough to retain it earlier this year -- so I dropped down to MVP -- but looks like I'm back to 75K thanks to my employer. Spoiler alert: This probably won't impact my travel very much as I've already booked 50K on Delta the rest of this year but for the few regional flights planned on AS this is nice to have.

I'd expect the "preferred corporate accounts" part of that message is what caused this.

My business travel is only barely coming back and similarly I moved it to DL based on ability to keep some status there via other means and the AS operational challenges. Would shift back if things stabilize - and an offer like this would help! (Though I was just MVPG.)

Did you get the 50K bonus miles and 4 lounge passes too?

Hi -

Gifted 75K status generally does not come with passes or 50K. Same as with a status match.

I had to search for "-ade". How have I never heard of Avanade?

No to the 50K bonus miles. Yes to GGUs and lounge passes.

And note, my company is in the S.F. bay area. So it's not just Puget Sound corporations whose employees were targeted for the promotion.

I got a mail gifting me MVP Gold and received the GGUs in my account with a 12/31/2023 expiry date. I was happy to get the mail but also amused: I've been unemployed for almost a year now.

Same with the extended challenge period AS offered earlier this year . . . after earning 75K with 20k base miles through 4/30, received GGUs and lounge passes.

2023? Thatís a lot more generous than the OP.

Did you (still) have your corporate email in your AS profile?

The 2023 expiry is for the GGUs not the status. Status expires at the end of 2022.

I've never had a corporate email in my AS profile.
