Changing DOB on Partner Reservation

Changing DOB on Partner Reservation
Hi. If a birth date is accidentally entered incorrectly on a partner reward reservation, can AS change it? Or does it require canceling and booking a new flight? Asking for a friend.

Call AS customer service first. It should be easy to change/ edit. But you might have to call the partner.

If you're checking bags, you can just ask them to do it at the check-in counter (speaking from experience as a person who once entered her boyfriend's incorrect birth date).

I've done it without issue and didn't have any problems checking in, but you're probably right because it's always better to be safe than sorry.
