will companion pass flight get cancelled if i cancel my alaska card?

I've had the alaska credit card for several years now. I noticed the companion pass voucher for the next year appeared in my account after the $79 annual fee hit. I booked a flight for Dec 2022 using the companion code. If I cancel the alaska cc now (within the 45 days of when the AF posted) will my flight in Dec 2022 get cancelled too? Just wondering...

No, you're good to go even without the card.

No, BUT you still need to pay for the fare with an AS BOA CC. So assuming you still have access to that form of payment you're good to go.

Hah, my “ignore” post originally said the same thing… but the OP has already purchased the ticket.

For future reference, if you purchase the flight with wallet funds/GCs then you don't need to pay with an AS BOA CC

What about mixed wallet funds/GC with partial CC charge? Does that CC need to be AS BOA then?
