Awesome!

I personally disagree with the image for PAE:

Quite a bit of commercial and u-pick blueberry farms around Eugene according to the Oregon Blueberry Commission. I think I've been to one of these in EUG but not in the winter of course.

AS gives MFR pears, which makes sense. I have a BA booking to MFR this summer which features a very nice photo of the Chrysler building, which is in the same country.

Uh, UOregon likely holds a copyright on the mascot and any likenesses.

Actually, Disney held the copyright forever and just in the past maybe 10? years or so gave it to the UofO. But I know what you're saying.

However, many, many states grow blueberries, have no idea why they were chosen.

How much time do you think they spent on choosing each picture? My guess is, less than we both spent in this thread.

what is this? Its for Palm Springs (PSP). Looks like a quilt on a cloths line. but when I zoom in looks like an American flag in Greek colors (blue and white) and some kid drawings. Its not on a cloths line, cause... what would be the cloths line isn't straight.

. I don't know I'm confused.

But it looks like one of those California cows....anyone else remember those commercials? There were several, and you got to VOTE on your favorite, the one who marched up to a group and started babbling about where she was from , blah, blah, and I think the winner was the cow from WISCONSIN who was covered with frost and her nose dripping ice BEGGING to become a California cow. And California does produce more cheese than Wisconsin!

All I can say is I'm very observant...I was the one who first posted about the AS snowflakes that were all composed of PLANES, and now this.

Kudos to the AS advertising dept. for keeping us all entertained.

If only I could forgive them for the HORRIBLE schedule changes they have inflicted on me lately (5 HOURS!!!!!), they don't care how they screw up your rental car pick-ups.

It does look like that's what it is.. Always nice to pick a little-known landmark 85 miles away from the city you're serving! Could they not get rights to images of palm trees w/ the mountains in the background? Or a pool with some palm trees around it even?

95% of my experience is with Avis, and they'll generally hold a car for 24 hrs from the initially-booked pickup time; if you can find the local number for the rental car location you can try calling them directly

that said, it may not work if you were supposed to pick up at 6pm but your flight now arrives at 11pm, the counter closes at 10, and you're staying an hour or more from the airport
