To be honest I’m not sure on what milage levels that they were awarded. In fact, in 1982 when AS first started the program, everyone in Services was given a presentation and asked to sign up as many as possible. Lol, I was just 19 and didn’t pay any attention nor sign up anyone. That’s why I was hoping we’d find a true old school MP member to fill in the blanks.

Same here. Was going through old documents over the holidays and found a bunch of old MP statements from 30+ years ago. Was amusing to see how low redemption rates were back in the day. Think I still have an old Gold Coast card somewhere too...

I've been a member since 2003, but only started seriously flying Alaska during the Pandemic. (TBH felt burned after crediting a bunch of KE J flaps SFO-ICN-SIN to AS with like 2 eqps).
Currently at 93,779 lifetime miles on AS. Flew enough to qualify for 75K in 2021, so enough said. Hope to make 75K again in 2022!

If I recall right, if you signed up, you got an ingot, but maybe it was after completing a (one) flight. I still have mine somewhere. I'll see if I can find it for a photo. According to my profile I have been a member for 38 years and joined in 1983. It's a seven digit number.

Since 1988 for me. Eight digit membership number, but the first two digits are zeros. My membership materials, statements and physical card back in the day had only six digits.

You two seem to be vying for the record here...although 6/80 would be 41years ago. Surely you both must have some great stories to tell!

9 digit Virgin America captured customer.
Before that, I wasn't paying attention to Alaska Airlines.
