SEA-JNU on 2 August, 555PM departure. Sorry I didn't get a picture of the meal, it was pretty yummy. Sandwich looked like the stuff AS has been serving all summer.

Cookie served on dinner tray. Chicken was literally thick deli slices...

AS 992, SEA-CMH, 10:20 AM depart

F&C, Corn and Hominy Bowl, or Tamarind Chicken. Normally it's breakfast on this flight. AA's cutoff is 9:30 am for breakfast; is Alaska 10:00? Seems too early to me for the hominy thing or chicken. F&C it is.

Edit: Brie was present!

Options in F HNL-SJC:

Hawaiian Shoyu Chicken
shoyu-ginger glazed chicken topped with a dried pineapple crumble, purple sweet potato fritter, spiced sautéed spinach & roasted pineapple with a coconut green curry sauce

Chickpea Teriyaki Bowl
Toasted chickpeas and brown rice, grilled pineapple and fresh heirloom tomatoes with a Teriyaki glaze, fried onions and a citrus crumble
I had the chickpea bowl on the return earlier this week to CA. It was fine, sort of weird (pineapple and chickpeas?), filling, but not memorable. I mixed my salad in for more flavor. I see lots of F&C plates in my future since I do this route at least monthly, and don’t eat chicken. For the first time I saw Salt & Straw ice cream offered instead of Haagen Daz on this route.

I had the kale breakfast bowl coming back to HNL earlier this week. It was fine, not overloaded with kale, no meat was included but the poached egg was nice and not terribly over cooked. Ellenos yogurt again, so maybe we’ve struck gold from SJC and now will see the fancy stuff more frequently.

AS307 LAX-SFO B739 (no pic): drink service+snack basket
AS3435 SFO-LAX E175: 2 rounds of drink service+snack basket (ginger beer smuggled from SFO lounge)Met one of the best FA Patrick, passionate about his job, keep checking on his guests, 2 rounds of drink service on such a short route is rare. Also I've noticed mainline snack basket is different from Skywest snack basket. Never had beef jerky on mainline snack basket.

This is showing up for PDX-MCO in a few weeks. Curious to see how the Flat Iron Steak works out.

No meal?

I have an upcoming SFO to MCO nonstop in FC and the flight details say no meal available. Is this true? I’m new so sorry if I’m not asking this right.

When is the flight? If the pre-order window has passed it may state ‘no meal available’.

Unless the flight is miscatered, SFO-MCO will certainly have a full meal service.

It’s not till 8/25 so two weeks from today. It seems very odd.

I am guessing AS40 at 9:50AM? It is within T-2 weeks, but perhaps give it a little time. AS IT isn’t perfect.

No more Peatos with my Tito's? I have not seen packets of Peatos in the snack basket since June. Has AS dropped the, from the lineup?

I too am a Peatos aficionado. They've been on all my recent trips to HI (including 2 RTs earlier this month). They better not be going away!

I buy them in a 24 snack pack case from Amazon. I also see large format bags in the local grocery store. Just wondering the status on AS flights.
