You cannot see it in the app. I believe. But on the website starting the day before travel you can see the list, so at 12:01am you can see the lists for the next day's flights. And it shows everyone, not just those who are checked in, despite the text on the website. It's an improvement in transparency

you can also see the list through the mobile website too. It’s just the app you need to wait until 24 hours prior.

It seems to have just cleared so ~42hrs out? I've actually never gotten a comp upgrade on an airline before as I normally only book F/J, but this is straight up to collect some segments for MVP Gold (while accumulating all the mileage from QR J) so I picked economy. Probably not the most competitive route out there but I'm happy.

Looks like return cleared overnight too.

F seat map had varied between 3 and 5 open since booking; price started at $890 (my ticket was $349) and was north of $1400 the past few days
- AS185 JFK-SEA (1130 departure)
- 75K, L fare, purchased 11 May thru corporate travel portal
- automagically got 1F at OLCI

So I probably would've been upgraded if I stayed on my original AS118 booking (me and companion were #1 and #2 on the upgrade list with 4 seats open) but we wanted to fly out earlier so did a SDC. There were no available F seats at time of SDC so no possibility of upgrade. Nabbed 7A and 8B premium class seats which was nice. Got 8A person to swap seats with P2.

Upgraded from 6A/6B to 4D/4F on a companion fare, nice! A nice surprise because when I looked at the seatmap earlier, I only saw like 1F, 3C, 4D open. Maybe the person in 4F did a SDC? Entire upgrade list was cleared - by the time I checked, there was only 1 person on the upgrade list and they had been marked as upgraded to F. I saw similar results on our 5/23 return...maybe I shouldn't have used my GGU's on KOA-SJC? Well, I'm happy enough with the results. Also don't get the grain bowl on SJC-KOA, just go for the standard fruit and cheese plate.
