It is unfortunate that it is taking so long to post. Hopefully that will resolve soon. It can be frustrating if those EQM push you up into a higher Tier because you are losing out on the additional RDM Elite bonus on subsequent flights.

Despite the delay, it is a good datapoint confirming that the EQM are posting in the marketing carrier charts. In this case you earned a 100% RDM bonus that you would not have if it was an AA flight or an AA marketed flight operated by BA.

I once had an itinerary of 8 segments on 5 AS partner airlines marketed by LA (KE, QF, LA(QF) LA, EK, EK, KE, CX) but only 1 codeshare. The rest were native flight numbers. All 8 segments posted within 7 days.

Correct. The issue is the codeshare BA flight number is outside the old AS mileage earning flights and hasn't been updated since OW inclusion. Took a while, but at least they got it right!

As a data point for others, it seems that the issue must have been fixed. Recently flew FRA-DFW-PBI on a BA ticket operated by AA in I. Granted this itinerary was a result of rebooking due to flight cancellation/schedule change and my first itinerary was supposed to have been all operated by BA. Miles posted automatically (albeit taking over 2 weeks) without needing to send in the pesky email as follows:

FRA-DFW
Base: 5143
Bonus: 12,858

So this is consistent with the 250% total miles earned on the BA earning chart. Also the eligible flight numbers have been updated as well and the code-share flight numbers now fall within the eligibility range.
ashill and mildfrequence like this.

All

Is this still holding true? I’m looking to book winter 2022 tickets from LAX to JNB thru British Airways first class, connecting in London.

USA to London is BA marketed, but operated American. Reading this thread, seems that BA earning table & EQM bonus for BA “A” class 250% bonus applies.

Just checking to see if anyone has any more recent experience….?

Also, do any of you know if access to AAs LAX first class dining would apply, assuming it reopens by this winter?

Thanks,
DUT

Just flew back CDG-LHR-DFW-SAN all on BA ticket stock, everything but CDG-LHR was on AA metal. My BA flight numbers were in the ranges listed.

All flights credited back to Alaska just fine at the BA bonus rate. Took the usual two weeks or so before hitting on Wednesday night.

Does anyone have a sense of how often the BA eligible flight number ranges change? I booked a ticket in August for flights in December with an AS-operated segment in the 2900-2999 range. Every flight on my itinerary was eligible when I checked in August though of course I didn't screenshot that, I should have. Not sure if there's a whole lot I can do about it now but I'm at least curious how common changes to the ranges are.
