Of the current offerings, PeaTos reign supreme.

Bring back the beef jerky
Popcorn is okay
Some nuts would be nice but I understand there are allergy issues (although I believe there are nuts on a lot of the things in the basket)
The rest is nothing for someone trying to do low sugar/low carbs

I second that

Sweedish fish are the perfect complement to the PeaTos.

I third this, but I'm sure you meant to say Tito's instead of Swedish Fish in that last sentence. For dessert, or an AM flight, I'm also fond of Coffee & Baileys with the Kind bar.

On SAN-SEA right now, sadly there were no Swedish Fish in the basket. I didn’t ask about it, but I am curious to see if they reappear on SEA-TPA later today.

They seemed to have been withdrawn in the last few weeks.

Bummer. I guess I will have to get on the Peatos train and see what all the hype is about.

Don't set yourself up for disappointment. They're basically a healthier version of a Cheeto. If you like those, you'll like these, and they do pair nicely with a cocktail.

Or a less healthy (but less dry) version of Hippeas, which are also a nominally healthier version of a Cheeto.

I kind of like the Kind bars, but they tend to be pretty sticky to eat, and if I put them in my pocket and take them home they tend to disappear before I get to them.

Weirdly enough, on my SEA-SAN flight 2 days ago, our FA put the warm cookies in the snack basket... thoughts?

That's... a method. I have never seen that before. But of course I hadn't been a B gate before today either, so who knows.

I am still firmly in camp "don't heat my cookie".

Those look good--never seen those in the snack basket although I'd be just as happy with Cheetos rather than something that "tasted like" Cheetos.

Had cookies in snack basket on SEA/LAX last week. Partner gave thumbs up to healthy Cheetos snack. Swedish Fish in basket also.

Healthy? Does no artifical colour & a little less sodium really make them healthy? It is just marketing. The only "Junk" it doesn't have compared to Cheetos (corn meal) is artificial yellow food colour. Peatos (pea & lentil flour) are coloured with natural ingredients. Still 200mg of Sodium per ounce and still highly processed. Unless the snack basket has fresh fruit, the processed options are all varying degrees of Junk. Even Kind bars have processed sugars to "stick" the contents together.

I am not adverse to junk food. Hawkins Cheezies, a Canadian snack product, will always blow Cheetos or PeaTos out of the water but let's not call any of it what it isn't; healthy!
