Posted this in the wrong thread (Friends & Family 30% discount):

Today is the last day to use this discount code. Booked DEN-SEA-PHX R/T in F for late February. Warm weather and some Cactus League baseball. Paid F was a good deal and the bonus miles will be a nice perk.

Used my second code (first was from my partner, who's MVP from my 75K gift) for DEN-SEA-SBP R/T for mid-April (also in F). A bit cheaper than Santa Barbara and for some reason rental cars are quite a bit cheaper as well.

It's nice to not have to worry about upgrading, as are the free Alaska Club visits.

The 30% discount code is valid until 11:59 pm tonight, January 15th. The details for the code specifically state that it is good on flights through May 26th and that changes "after" the use by date would forfeit the code. Of course, cancellations would forfeit outright.

I have a SEA-BNA segment using my code. I had no issue changing it online, up to the point of purchase, to MCO. The discounted fare difference was $77.00. If you only have one segment to work with, two changes can make it a return.

You just sqeaked in your changes under the wire.

How would the calculation work for the following segment in paid first class from SEA to MCO for a flight in February 2021? Would the following be correct?

Assuming the air mileage is approximately 2550.

For MVPG
For MVP75K

EQM (2550 * 1.75 * 1.5) ?.? = 6693
Miles credited to account: MVPG with 100% bonus and 75K with 125% bonus

MVPG (2550*1.75*2) ?? = 8925
MVP75K (2550*1.75) + (2550*1.75) * 1.25?? = 10040

Thanks for helping with the math check, confirmation, or clarification

During the EQM bonus through June 30th, you will earn 2.63× miles flown in revenue F; 1.75 × 1.5 = 2.625 but is rounded up to two decimal places, 2.63.

RDM:

No status, 1.75 ×, MVP, 2.25 ×, MVPG, 2.75 × &
MVPG75K, 3.0 × miles flown.

Thank you.

EQM= 2550 x 2.63 = 6706

RDU
MVPG = 2550 x 2.75 = 7012

75K = 2550 x 3 = 7650

Did it say what for? This seems like a new promo and not related to the 30% off MVP promo.

For those of us with flexibility (and buy I fares), this is not too shabby. Have yet to receive, but could refare a few trips in May that I used the 10% on...

Seems targeted. Email said "New year, new horizons: 20% off a flight."

Almost certainly. Which is also why I'll probably not get one!

"New year, new horizons: $50 off* per person" for me. That's $25 off each way on fares of $75 or more. Appears to be targeted with unique codes.

Read and received. Definitely targeted. Refared 3 trips w/20% code.

Thanks AS! Ka-ching.

(altho am I the only one that doesn't think this is viable for them in the long term...?)

I must be in the control group. All I got was an email titled "Fares from $49 one way: Our crew makes safety fly nonstop" with links to some regular current fares. No discount of any sort.
