Shockingly good in F from KOA-SEA today, 8/2 AS854. That would be a Taro/Ube (couldnt tell) roll, with the beef filet, salad, and a sort of passionfruit cake. Normally meals are decent, good microwave quality, but today was awesome. Great job Alaska! We did not get a cookie but perhaps the cake makes up for that.
Decided to take the risk and preordered the pork bowl, the pineapple+mango salsa is weird IMO, especially when combined with egg and pork
will go back to the omelette definitely

Flew the midnight redeye last night after several gate changes which was an experience in itself, but was never offered fruit and cheese plate inflight which I was expecting. The flight in F had no food offered at all. The Rez did indicate no meal offered, but I thought I got food on my past ORD redeyes this winter......but am not 100% certain.....

AS stated that the route historically has enough significant turbulence which limits usable in-flight service time to perform a full service They are aware that this route has interest in full catering and are reviewing it. Their focus is ensuring a safe in-flight environment.

Flying this Saturday IAH-SEA, 3:50 PM. What can I expect? Thinking about hitting the Cadillac Kitchen and Bar before the flight curtsey of Priority Pass. The food there might be better than in flight food.

I find the ham and cheese wrap much more appealing than the turkey sandwich, wish that wasn't just offered during the mornings

I just returned LAX-SEA on the 4th Flight of N913AK, The new MAX is resting back at C9 where it started the day.
I changed to AS705 before OLCI from an earlier flight in paid F. I didn't pre-order a meal. All the F&C Platters were spoken for. Most had pre-ordered. My choice was the Smoked Turkey Sandwich. Yay! I had one last night too on PHX-SEA.
A new item in the snack basket was a surprise though. Sweedish Fish!
The soft blue LED lighting was appropriate for fish from the Ocean. 😉
Smart Fish! They have been "schooled" to spell. 😂
It was a long day, ready for another tomorrow and again on Wednesday.
