Probably a stupid question, but I assume there's no way to buy one of these and still get the 3x miles purchase bonus with the AS BofA card?

"Stupid" seems a bit harsh. But let's put our thinking caps on and assess this logically. If you purchase an Alaska Airlines gift card, from Costco, who will be the merchant of record, and thus technically you actually have not purchased anything from Alaska Airlines (remember, your purchase was from Costco) do you see the problem (and thus the answer)?

Unless your AS BoA card has a target 3x on all purchase promo, you'll get 1x for buying at Costco

but if you have a costco citi card you'll get 2% cash back

Y'all were too fast. I went to the costco in SF today (August 12, 2022 at 12:30) and they had run out. They told me to go to Foster City, CA. I might not make it in before those run out as well.

Anyone seeing these anywhere? Seems they have dried up at Maui Costco. I'm thinking a mileage run to a Costco with certificates would be fun way to end the year!
