That's what I just did....booked PDX-SEA-MSY with an overnight in SEA for around $87 one-way....amazing main cabin fare.

YES, you can get both seats in the row, with the BOGO promotion. First passenger Information is your Information. Second passenger, First name EXST (extra seat) and your last name. do not duplicate MP# but do use your BD.
You are then able to continue through booking process and PNR shows- Joe Smith and then Exst Smith as passengers.
Please don't do this. Call reservations so they can book the EXST properly.

Hi -

Nos if only we got EQM for both seats purchased. That, plus the 50% promo would mean triple EQM for booking the row.

I didn't realize that the discount code was applicable to discount First Class (I fares)....just purchased a PDX-AUS round-trip in First for $202.60....if my math is correct, I'll earn 8977 EQMs with the class of service bonus and 50% EQM promotion (3420 x 1.75 x 1.5)....yikes....amazing!

I went into EWR and then out of JFK. My recollection is you will only find Hudson News with an expanded selection of wrapped refringerated items at the metro NY airports. I didnt see any food service other than the Dunkin Donuts in T7 at JFK. Certainly nothing sit down, I think that may be banned now in metro NY.

Just got off the phone with reservations who told me to do this exact thing online.

It seems like it is only certain I fares. I can't figure out what the limiting factor is.

The cheapest I've seen are the $55 one-way first class fares for PDX-SMF and LAX-SFO. PDX-DCA is good deal at $200 one-way and PDX-ORD is only $120.

If you are looking for EQM consider the through fares instead of the non-stop options. ORD-SFO 1841 miles, 2762 EQM, 2.72 cpm EQM is $60 while ORD-SEA-SFO 2392 miles, 3590 EQM, 2.20 cpm EQM is $79.

Silly prices to/from YVR too. YVR-SEA-JFK $102 on the outbound (base fare is $43 + $58.35 fees & taxes) $60 on the return. $161.15 return. 5828 miles, 8742 EQM, 1.85 cpm EQM.

If you flew just the same SEA-JFK-SEA flights, the fare is $293.20.

I could not find any "I" fares that would work, guess those weren't on the routes I was looking at. I did snag some $55 and $60 one ways. I was booking for a family of 5 and was having all kinds of fun getting this to work, but did eventually find that the discount code worked for one person ;-)

Wish I had more time, I would have liked to have booked some October travel, just ran out of planning time yesterday.

It was not intended to work on I fares, so, congrats for finding the odd one out
